My Story
Bible expositor, Lecturer, Musician, Author and co-founder of Southside Christian Church in Nassau, Bahamas, and Lifegate Christian Ministries in Blackwood Abaco, Bahamas
I was born a native Bahamian to Rev. Dr. Charles C. Smith and Mrs. C. Jacqueline Smith, former Senior Pastoral couple of the historic Zion Baptist Church, Shirley & East Streets Nassau Bahamas. Zion was the place of my young adult Christian experience and ministerial awakening. It was there I answered the call of God and eventually set out in 1984 to pursue my career as a Christian Theologian.
My academic qualifications are as follows:

1989 - An undergraduate Certification in Ministerial Studies, majoring in Clinical Pastoral Education: United Theological College of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica

1992 - Master of Arts in Christian Education, specializing in Staff Development and Educational Administration: Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky U.S.A.

Ministry
In terms of Ministerial formation and licensing, I was ordained on July 30th 1989 by the Zion United Baptist Convention under the Superintendence of my father the late Rev. Dr. Charles C. Smith. Later in September of that same year I was appointed Marriage Officer by the Government of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas, and worked for Zion as a Marriage Counselor, and as Minister of Christian Education until October 1998.

I am currently a Justice of the Peace in The Bahamas, and offer services in Marital and Family-Life Coaching, Corporate Group Staff-Retreats, and Mediation services to aid in industrial and labor disputes. Between 2011 and 2014 I served as an Executive Officer of the Bahamas Christian Council, in addition to holding membership with several international ecumenical organizations namely, the Association of Independent Ministries Pastors Alliance, member of The International Third World Leaders Association, and member of the International Coalition of Apostles, (ICA). I was consecrated Apostle in October 2002, by Apostle John Kelly; (ICA).
Music
I'm a musician and songwriter, holding a London, Royal Schools of Music, Grade Five level with distinction in classical Piano performance.
I have conducted music workshops, served as church organist and held the position of Minister of Music while studying and working in Louisville KY.
To date I've produced 6 original Gospel songs, two of which have been released. You can listen to and purchase them below!
FUN FACT: “Such a Time as This” spent nine weeks on the Gospel Top 10 in The Bahamas and was the number 1 requested song of 2017!

I'm the author of two books, “Triumph Over Tragedy” by Westbowe Press,
and “Victorious Marriage” which I co-authored with my wife Dr. Judy L. McIntosh-Smith.
Organizations
To date, I've co-founded and planted two churches along with my wife Dr. Judy Smith; Southside Christian Church in Nassau, Bahamas, and Lifegate Christian Ministries in Blackwood Abaco, Bahamas.
Presently, Dr. Smith serves as Senior Pastor at Southside Christian Church, Nassau Bahamas, President of the Global Leadership Training Institute LLC, as Apostolic Overseer for AFIRM, and as the Bahamas Chairman for Kingdom Destiny Fellowship International.
The Global Leadership Training Institute
The Global Leadership Training Institute is a school of professional development tailored made for those whose business and marketplace practices spring from a religious worldview. While many of the courses offered by GLTI are intended to improve the skill-sets of pastor and church leaders, GLTI has a number of seminars particularly suited to managers and supervisors in the secular workplace. Generally speaking, the courses at GLTI have been written and compiled by Dr. C. Clifford Smith III, international lecturer, author and Christian Pastor with over twenty-five years of church leadership experience. GLTI is internationally accredited and all of the courses offered are certificated, providing 2.0 and 3.0 college credit hours as published in the schedule. GLTI courses are available at live regional weekend schools according to a published schedule, and may also be attended through online webinars.
